Israel is colonizing Palestinian land and genociding its people. The United States is funding this Israeli-led genocide with U.S. tax dollars. Israeli airstrikes killed over 700 Palestinians overnight on October 24, 2023. At the same time, Palestine has no official army. As of October 28, 2023, Israel has forced the residents of Gaza into a blackout, taking away access to telephones and the internet. This is in addition to Israel cutting off Palestine’s supply of water, electricity, fuel, and freedom of movement. This is not new. Israel has controlled this access for over 75 years. Meanwhile, Israel continues to bomb and airstrike civilians in Gaza with unprecedented intensity. This is ethnic cleansing.

This is not an equal conflict or a war; this is Palestinian resistance to the continual killing and displacement of their people. Israel has been colonizing Palestine and killing Palestinians since 1948. Israel has bombed multiple hospitals and schools, intentionally killing civilians and children, with the excuse that Palestinian resistance fighters are located there. Israel notified Palestinian civilians to evacuate to the south of Gaza, yet Israel continues to bomb the routes they designated as “safe” and block all border exits. As of October 2023, Israel has launched a ground invasion into Gaza and heavily armed the border wall with orders to shoot to kill. Palestinians have little ability to fight back and no way to escape with blocked borders and limited choices. This is genocide.

The United States has gifted Israel $260 billion in military and economic aid since WWII. Yet, President Biden is requesting an additional $14.3 billion to fund this genocide. Israel possesses one of the strongest and most well-funded militaries in the world. We must end all aid to Israel. We must demand our leaders to prioritize Palestinian lives over the benefits of maintaining loyalty to Israel.

Call for no more aid to Israel’s crimes.

Call to send aid to Palestine.
